New beginning!

DAY 1

I haven't updated this blog in awhile but I got a reason to come back today. There are new additions! No, they'll not be permanent residents but will be staying until they're old enough to find their own homes. They were dropped off at the vet's office, 6 kittens approximately a week old, and 2 of them were taken by someone else before I got there so I came home with the remaining 4.

So introducing the munchkins! There are 3 males & 1 female according to the vet. The 2nd from the left is the largest and only female of the litter and the tiny orange one peaking out from the pile on the right side is the runt.

They're fussy little things at this age, have fleas, and so far they haven't taken to bottles well. The little orange runt boy in particular was fighting me against every little drop during the first mealtime and will need special attention.
