Roxy's first vacation
Roxy went on her first vacation, to Hunter Mountains. She had a blast with getting constant attention from so many people, including a little girl who couldn't get enough of her. It's been great for her socializing with strangers and even a young child and she behaved like the little princess that she is. Well, with the except of a few "accidents" on the carpet, but she made up for that with pooping in her litterbox for the first time :)

We have a cat a lot like Roxy. The word "princess" is the one we use to describe Tiger Lily very very often. The vacation, including the great social success, of you and your Roxy is one we have repeated many times with our Lily. Even to the detail of a child who becomes completely charmed by the cat who doesn't run away, who is so pretty.
Our cat does not stand at all, so (with the exception of the first few months of her life with us) she does not use a litter box. We thought at first that Lily could and would, but there is just no way she could ever get into a sand box, nor even get any benefit from crawling into a flat aluminum pan full of cat sand.
We assist her, and for the most part, it is the same as it is with the family dog. Just before we leave the house for a period, or as soon as we return, she has an opportunity for a supervised "emptying". Sometimes, she piddles or poops when we aren't at home, with varying results. She sometimes has to have a nice shampoo bath ("just like a show cat").
